Tamara - 2005

Tamara, directed by Jeremy Haft can confuse the audiences; some have liked it and some haven't. This 2005 flick was entirely shot in Canada and did a decent business in the box office.

The shy, unattractive and lonely girl Tamara Riley (Jenna Dewan) became the victim of all pranks played by a group of classmates from her school. She and her teacher Mr. Natolly both liked witchcraft. She published about repeated drug abuse that regularly takes place inside the campus in the School-mag. This resulted in all (most) the students going against her The group of students tricked Tamara to believe that her teacher Mr. Natolly has fallen for her; but it ended in a tragic (accidental) death of Tamara. Tamara returns from death using her magic spell only to ruin the lives of the people who were responsible for her death.

The movies starts well and continued in a good direction. and ended in pretty much the same way. Very predictable and simple story yet you will find it full of suspense and thrill that is essential for this genre. Acting skills and sound effects have been utilised in quite a decent way. Along with few "cenes of silence" , the movie has slight touch of goreness. Definitely a watchable American stuff.

My Rating - 6/10
