Directed by Takeshi Furusawa, Otoshimon aka Ghost Train is one of the most popular J-Horrors, which bears clear resemblance with movies like Ringu, Pulse and Ju-On. Nina (Erika Sawajiri), a school girl eye witnessed a train accident while going to her school. Nina and her friend Kanae came across several bizarre incidents soon after that. They were haunted by a female spirit near the station area. One day the younger sister of Nina vanished, and it was assumed that she was taken away by this spirit. Soon a mysterious woman made her appearance and slowly the story began to unfold.
This movie has loads of similarities with other J-Horrors. From the story to the cinematography, you will find something very common with some other movies. The movie starts off pretty well, keeping the thrill intact to attract viewers. But the climax wasn't up to the mark. Hence an average movie was created by Furusawa.
