Uzumaki aka Spiral deals with the weird concept of supernatural feel. This film directed by Higuchinsky earned a good reputation in the history of Asian Horrors. Kirie Goshima (Eriko Hatsune), a young girl came across her boyfriend's father videotaping a snail. The father was unware of it and soon became obsessed with Spirals, which led to her suicide in a washing machine. Slowly the entire population of the small Japanese town became possessed with the spirals.
The movie is not really based on incidents related to ghosts, rather it deals with incidents, which took place of the form of 'spiral'. The camera work is excellent and it gives you ample space to run your imagination wild.
